Gourmet Dining
For those who missed the weekend there was a great variety of culinary delights prepared by the various Patrols from Hot Dogs, Mac & Cheese, Spaghettios, Tacos or Burritos, Steak and Pork Loin that melted in your mouth for the adults.
Somehow the older boys thought their steak tasted better than Mr. Blanchard’s delicious pork loin. I am not sure how they attained samples of the adult dinner.
There was a tremendous gourmet pot of mashed potatoes loaded with onion, garlic and pepper plus 2 sticks of Butter that was consumed by many who still had space in their stomachs.
If this was not enough there was a huge pot of Cobbler that was enjoyed by all.
Layton ran a campfire program by the lantern, the wind prevented us have a fire, and afterwards we ran through a pluses and deltas, Baker Franklin summed things up pretty well saying the best thing was the cobbler.
